Mauro Sebaste

Italy

Mauro Sebaste is a family-run winery based in Alba, in Piedmont’s Langhe, with roots in Barolo. Founded in 1991 by Mauro Sebaste after leaving his family’s winery, the estate is now worked by Mauro, his wife Maria Teresa, daughters Sylla and Angelica, and the next generation. The family manages vineyards across the Langhe, Roero and Monferrato Astigiano, producing wines that emphasize Piedmont’s native varieties and individual terroir. Its approach combines tradition with innovation, including careful technological management, no chemicals in winemaking, and restrained use of wood, favoring large casks and tonneaux. The winery also produces fine grappa from its pomace. Hospitality is offered at La Casina, powered by photovoltaic and geothermal energy. Its wines have received recognition from several international critics.
