Tasca d'Almerita

Italy

Tasca d'Almerita is a historic, family-owned Sicilian estate founded in 1830 and still run by the Tasca family, now under eighth-generation owner and CEO Alberto Tasca. Its five estates across Sicily include Regaleali, Tascante on Mount Etna, Capofaro, Sallier de La Tour and the Whitaker project. The company operates as a Società Benefit and is certified B Corp, with a strong sustainability focus through chemical-free, manual-labour viticulture, organic defence methods and the SOStain protocol. Alberto Tasca also chairs SOStain Sicily. Historically shifting from bulk production toward premium wines, the estate emphasizes minimal-intervention winemaking to express site and variety.
