St Antonin

France

St Antonin is a family-run Rhône estate near Jonquières, acquired by the Sabon family in 2014 and led by Isabelle Sabon. The vineyards, including a clos surrounding an 18th-century Provençal mas at the highest point of Plan de Dieu, are farmed with respect for terroir, soil and the environment, with organic certification in progress. Grapes are hand-harvested and carefully sorted, with parcel-specific vinification, partial destemming and spontaneous fermentation using native yeasts. The estate produces red and white wines from Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes du Rhône Villages Plan de Dieu, Côtes du Rhône and IGP Vaucluse. Its approach emphasizes restrained, thoughtful élevage and the clear expression of distinct Rhône terroirs.
