New Zealand

Schubert is a tiny, boutique winery owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Kai Schubert and Marion Deimling. Their vineyards are located in Martinborough and the Wairarapa, including the East Taratahi Block B site. Organic and biodynamic viticulture underpin the estate’s strong sustainability focus, while Kai and Marion oversee the winemaking themselves from vineyard to bottle. The operation produces only very small quantities, reflecting a highly hands-on, artisanal approach.
