Perinet is a Priorat DOQ estate in northern Catalonia, established in 1998 among the steep, terraced slopes between Poboleda, Porrera, La Morera and Siurana. Its vineyards are rooted in the region’s distinctive llicorella slate and shaped by Mediterranean warmth, altitude and cooling breezes, producing concentrated yet balanced wines from Garnatxa, Carinyena and Syrah alongside Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The vineyards are farmed organically, without synthetic pesticides or herbicides, with pruning and harvesting carried out by hand; the winery also operates a solar-energy system and supports estate biodiversity. Head winemaker Dr Antoni Sánchez-Ortiz brings more than 20 years’ experience and a scientific, terroir-focused approach. Perinet combines Priorat tradition with modern facilities and innovation, including a Gaudí-inspired barrel room and handcrafted, minimal-intervention wines.
