Pearce Predhomme

South Africa

Pearce Predhomme is a small, terroir-driven collaboration between Toronto sommelier and entrepreneur Will Predhomme and Ontario importer Nicholas Pearce, working with Radford Dale in South Africa and NorthWest Wine Co. in Oregon. Its limited portfolio includes Chenin Blanc and Cinsault-Syrah, with South African fruit from old bush vines on decomposed granite and quartz soils at Helderburg in Stellenbosch. The project emphasizes natural fermentation, site expression, and sustainable practices, and is labeled “Sustainable, Volcanic.” South African wines are made by Jacques de Klerk and Alex Dale, while Laurent Montalieu handles the Oregon Pinot Noir. Production is very limited, with 120 cases of Pinot Noir documented.
