Domaine Raveneau

France

Domaine Raveneau is a family-owned, family-run estate in Chablis, Burgundy, founded in 1948 by François Raveneau and still operated by the Raveneau family. Today Bernard and Jean-Marie Raveneau lead the domaine, with Isabelle Raveneau also involved. The estate farms Chablis vineyards on Kimmeridgian clay and limestone soils, including Grand Cru and Premier Cru parcels across southwest-facing slopes. Its approach is traditional: hand-harvesting, gentle pneumatic pressing, and élevage in older oak with minimal new oak. The domaine produces wines across all four Chablis appellations, with a particular focus on its top Grand Cru and Premier Cru bottlings. No formal sustainability certifications are noted.
