Domaine Marc Jambon

France

Domaine Marc Jambon is a family-owned estate in Burgundy’s Mâcon appellation, with the Jambon family making wine since 1750. Now run by Pierre Antoine Jambon alongside Michel Prudhon, the domaine is rooted in the hillsides of the Mâconnais on clay-limestone soils. The family emphasizes sustainable, environmentally friendly viticulture, with low yields, grass cover between rows, and a strong focus on vine health. In the cellar, the approach is patient and low-intervention: slow spontaneous fermentations, limited sulphite use, and ageing each cuvée on fine lees for 6 to 8 months. The result is a producer defined by long family continuity, careful farming, and a thoughtful, traditional winemaking philosophy.
