Domaine Georges Noëllat

France

Domaine Georges Noëllat is a family estate in Vosne-Romanée in Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, now run by Maxime Cheurlin, who took over in 2010 and continues the Noëllat family lineage. Farming follows a sustainable lutte raisonnée approach, with largely organic methods, hand-harvesting, and intervention only when needed. In the cellar, the domaine emphasizes minimal intervention, using native yeasts and avoiding fining and filtration. The focus is on low-yield Pinot Noir from Vosne-Romanée and northern Nuits-Saint-Georges, including parcels with many pre-WWII vines, with oak aging adapted to the wine and vintage.
