Domaine David Sautereau

France

Domaine David Sautereau is a long-established family estate in the Sancerre appellation, rooted in the Sautereau family since 1683 and now led by tenth-generation owner-winemaker David Sautereau. Based in the southern Sancerre area around Crézancy-en-Sancerre, the domaine farms vineyards across Crézancy, Bué, and Sancerre on varied soils including caillottes, terres blanches, marls, and terres rouges. Certified organic and guided by sustainable practices, the estate emphasizes respect for the land and people. Its winemaking philosophy combines tradition and innovation to express the most sincere character of its Sancerre terroirs, with a boutique-scale focus on estate wines, especially Sauvignon Blanc.
