Château Paveil de Luze

France

Château Paveil de Luze is a long-established family estate in Soussans, Margaux, owned by the de Luze family since 1862 and now in its seventh generation. One of the oldest properties in the Médoc, it farms gravel soils with a sustainable, reasoned approach focused on water management, soil decompaction, leaf-thinning, green harvesting and hand harvesting. The estate is currently overseen by Catherine and Marguerite de Luze following Frédéric de Luze’s death in 2016. Winemaking is shaped with consultant Stéphane Derenoncourt and cellar master Stéphane Fort. A Cru Bourgeois estate, Château Paveil de Luze is known for Margaux wines built on deep gravel terroir and a clear family continuity across generations.
