Producer

Cascina Chicco

Italy

Cascina Chicco is a family-owned producer rooted in Piedmont’s Roero and Langhe, with the winery run across generations and a long local history. The estate works across important crus in Barolo, Barbaresco, Roero and Castellinaldo, with strong attention to site-specific soils, altitude and microclimate, pointing to a clear terroir focus. Farming is described as environmentally respectful, with efforts to protect biodiversity around the vineyards. In the cellar, tradition and technology are combined in dramatic underground spaces: reds see long macerations and ageing in large casks and French oak barriques, while whites are made with cryomaceration to preserve aromatic freshness. The range highlights Nebbiolo in its different expressions, alongside Arneis and Barbera.
