Araldica Castelvero

Italy

Founded in 1954 and based in Castel Boglione, Araldica Castelvero is a family-run Piedmontese cooperative bringing together local winegrowers, with a focus on Barbera d’Asti. Managing Director and winemaker Claudio Manera works alongside his wife, Lella, who oversees quality control, and their son Carlo on the winemaking team. The cooperative combines broad grower participation with a family-based, artisanal approach. Its sustainability program is certified under SQNPI and ISO 14001 and includes organic wine options, solar energy, lighter-weight bottles, natural wastewater treatment, biodiversity protection, soil-health initiatives and the elimination of chemical weed control.
