Agustí Torelló Mata is a family-run producer in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, Penedès, founded in 1950 and now led by the second generation of the Torelló family. The estate farms certified organic vineyards and makes organic, vegan-certified wines under D.O. Penedès, with hand harvesting and a clear focus on sustainability, terroir, and native varieties. Its sparkling wines are rooted in traditional method production and long aging, with Celler Kripta standing as the family’s signature project. Winemaking is described as low-intervention, with all grapes vinified on the property, low sulfites, and, since 2018, fermentations with their own selected indigenous yeasts. The house is particularly associated with Macabeu and with expressing the Mediterranean character of Penedès.
