Kilikanoon is a family-owned boutique winery founded in 1997 in Penwortham, Clare Valley, by Kevin Mitchell, who remains closely involved in its winemaking, with his father Mort Mitchell contributing deep vineyard knowledge. Rooted in South Australia’s Clare Valley, the estate draws on a collection of small vineyard sites, including historic dry-grown vines, to craft wines that express terroir with clarity, balance, power, and elegance. Its range spans bold reds, elegant whites, and rare releases shaped by the region’s varied microclimates. Kilikanoon is a certified member of Sustainable Winegrowing Australia and follows a biodiverse, environmentally focused approach in both vineyard and winery.
