Producer

John Duval Wines

Australia

John Duval Wines is a family-owned, independent Barossa Valley producer founded in 2003 by John Duval after a long career at Penfolds, including many years as chief winemaker responsible for Grange. Rooted in generations of South Australian grape growing, the winery sources fruit from exceptional old Barossa and Eden Valley vineyards, including heritage and centenarian sites, to make distinctly Barossan wines. Its style centres on elegance, balance and structure rather than power. The business remains closely family run, with John as proprietor and winemaker and his son Tim involved across winemaking and the broader business, and is part of the Artisans of Barossa collective in Tanunda.
