Herr Ehrhard

Germany

Herr Ehrhard is a family-owned Rheingau estate operating since 1815 and run by Carl Ehrhard, his wife Petra, and their three daughters. Its vineyards are farmed 100% organically and biodynamically, with organic certification confirmed for the 2022 harvest. Carl Ehrhard oversees traditional, hands-on winemaking, using hand-picked grapes, an old wooden basket press, and spontaneous fermentations. The estate’s natural wines are unfiltered, vegan-friendly, and made without added sulfur, reflecting a low-intervention approach.
