Henri & Philippe Jouan is a small, family-owned domaine in Morey-Saint-Denis, Burgundy, founded by Henri Jouan in 1962 and now operated by fifth-generation Philippe with Henri’s continued involvement. The estate follows low-intervention, sustainable practices, including hand-pruning and harvesting, minimal chemical use, limited soil disturbance, selective deleafing, and gentle pressing. Wines such as Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes and Coteaux Bourguignons Vieilles Vignes are made from handpicked, fully destemmed grapes with gentle extraction, reflecting a careful, restrained approach to winemaking.
