Hahn Estate

United States

Hahn Estate, in California’s Santa Lucia Highlands, is known for estate-grown Pinot Noir and Burgundian-style Chardonnay. The winery farmed four estate vineyards—Lone Oak, Smith, Doctor’s, and Hook—and uses sustainable farming techniques, though no formal certification is noted. Historically family-owned and operated, Hahn Family Wines was acquired by E&J Gallo in June 2023, marking a shift to corporate ownership. Philip Hahn is identified as the winemaker. The estate has moved away from Cabernet Sauvignon and other Bordeaux varieties to focus on its cool-climate strengths.
