Gloria Ferrer is a Carneros, Sonoma estate founded by José and Gloria Ferrer in the early 1980s and recognized as the first sparkling wine estate in Carneros. Now part of the Henkell Freixenet group, it remains closely tied to the Ferrer family legacy. The estate is CCOF-certified organic and CSWA-certified sustainable, with farming focused on soil health, biodiversity, water stewardship, and regenerative practices such as sheep grazing, chemical-free pest control, native habitat restoration, and smart irrigation. Gloria Ferrer is known for estate-grown sparkling wines, especially Pinot Noir- and Chardonnay-based cuvées made in the traditional method, with handpicked fruit, whole-cluster pressing, and extended lees aging. The winery also produces still Pinot Noir and emphasizes texture, complexity, and Carneros expression.
