Ferrari-Carano is a Sonoma County estate in Dry Creek Valley, Healdsburg, founded in 1981 by Don and Rhonda Carano and now owned by Bill and Carol Foley. Its vineyards span several Sonoma and Napa appellations, with certified sustainable sites and practices addressing water, soil, biodiversity, energy, and wildlife conservation. The winery produces Classic Sonoma Wines, Vineyard Select single-vineyard wines and special block blends, and PreVail Cabernet Sauvignon from mountain vineyards. Its Vineyard Select range emphasizes distinctive microclimates and varietal character, balancing richness with delicacy. Winemaking is led by specialists including Natalie West for white wines and Rebecka Deike for reds, whose approach focuses on expressing vine character through wines of intensity, complexity, grace, and balance.
