Producer

Ezio Cerruti

Italy

Ezio Cerruti is a small, family-run estate in Castiglione Tinella, Piedmont, where he is both owner and winemaker. Working from a cellar beneath his house, Cerruti personally tends his Moscato vineyards and oversees the production of a small range of Moscato-based wines, including a Passito and the dry Moscato “Fol.” Farming is organic and biodynamic, without herbicides or synthetic chemicals; copper and sulfur are used for disease control, while grassed rows and wildflowers encourage biodiversity. Wines are made with wild yeasts, minimal additives and low sulfur. The estate occupies a historic, 1,000-year-old property acquired and managed by Cerruti.
