Domaine Robert Chevillon

France

Domaine Robert Chevillon is a family-owned estate in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Burgundy, with a history spanning four to five generations. The brothers Denis and Bertrand Chevillon, sons of founder Robert, now own and manage the domaine, cultivating about 13 hectares of vineyards. These include eight Premier Cru parcels and notable old vines, averaging 50 years with some over 75 years. Farming follows a sustainable Lutte Raisonnée approach, though no formal organic or biodynamic certification is mentioned. The winemaking emphasizes precise vineyard work, such as green harvesting to control yields, and traditional methods like natural fermentation and aging in oak. The focus is on expressing terroir through structured, elegant wines.
