Domaine les Bruyères, David Reynaud

France

Domaine les Bruyères is a family-owned estate in the Rhône Valley, independently established by David Reynaud in 2000 after leaving the Tain co-operative. Rooted in the Serret/Reynaud family, the domaine is based in the heart of Crozes-Hermitage, on clay-limestone terraces strewn with rounded stones. Farming is certified organic by Ecocert and biodynamic by Biodyvin, with careful manual vineyard work and low yields. David Reynaud personally oversees both vineyard and cellar, working with indigenous yeasts, whole-cluster fermentation, and concrete-egg ageing. The wines reflect a clear commitment to nature-minded viticulture and thoughtful, hands-on winemaking.
