Domaine Fontaine-Gagnard

France

Domaine Fontaine-Gagnard is a family-owned Burgundy estate founded in 1985 by Laurence Gagnard and Richard Fontaine, with vineyards in Chassagne-Montrachet, Volnay and Pommard. The next generation, led by Céline Fontaine alongside Fred Robert, continues its traditional, low-intervention approach. Farming includes complete ploughing and soil analysis, while the wines are made with native yeasts and limited oak ageing. The 2021 Chassagne-Montrachet Blanc carries organic certification. Its very small production reflects a focused, artisanal estate committed to expressing its Burgundy vineyards.
