Domaine des Aubuisières

France

Domaine des Aubuisières is a Vouvray estate in the Loire Valley owned and operated by Bernard Fouquet. Founded in the late 1970s, it focuses exclusively on Chenin Blanc grown on flint, chalk, clay-limestone and clay-siliceous soils, with many vines on Vouvray’s first slopes. The domaine is known for single-vineyard and lieu-dit bottlings, including wines such as Cuvée de Silex, and produces both still and sparkling Vouvray. Available sources describe it as a family-run estate under Fouquet’s direction. Notes on organic conversion, HVE certification, and leadership by Menehould and Charles Lesaffre appear in some sources, but are not consistent across the material provided.
