Domaine de la Côte de l'Ange

France

Domaine de la Côte de l’Ange is a family-run estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, founded in 1972 by Jean-Claude Mestre and Monique Jeune. Today, Corinne Gasparri and her sons Jules and Louis operate the domaine, with winemaking overseen by Corinne and Yannick Gasparri. Its vineyards include sites such as Coteau de l’Ange, La Nerthe, Le Grand Devès and Moulin à Vent, with holdings in both Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes du Rhône. The estate emphasizes careful, sustainable work, including hand and green harvesting, sexual-confusion techniques to reduce insecticide use, and manual destemming. Its wines include traditional cuvées alongside Vieilles Vignes and the Mourvèdre-dominated Secret de L’Ange.
