Domaine de Durban

France

Domaine de Durban is a family-run estate in Beaumes-de-Venise in the Southern Rhône, owned by the Leydier family since 1967 and now led by third-generation brothers Henri Leydier, who oversees winemaking, and Philippe Leydier, who manages the vineyards. Based near the Dentelles de Montmirail, the domaine works across Beaumes-de-Venise, Gigondas, Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise, Côtes du Rhône and IGP Vaucluse. It is certified organic and High Environmental Value, with Lutte Raisonnée and biodiverse farming practices. Henri Leydier’s cellar approach combines hand-harvested fruit, stainless-steel maceration, barrique ageing and unfiltered bottling, with a focus on Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise and Rhône reds.
