Domaine Bellang Christian et Fils

France

Domaine Christian Bellang is a family-owned Burgundy estate rooted in Meursault, with additional vineyards in Savigny-lès-Beaune, Chorey-lès-Beaune and Beaune. Christian Bellang took over the family domaine in 1974, and his son Christophe joined him in 1995; Christophe now manages the estate. The family’s Meursault history reaches back to 1789, alongside a four-generation tradition as itinerant distillers producing regional fruit spirits, Marc de Bourgogne and Fine de Bourgogne. Vineyards are farmed using low-intervention, reasoned viticulture, with respect for terroir and vintage. Wines are made with indigenous yeasts, barrel fermentation and 10–18 months’ aging, aiming for precise, natural, fruit-forward wines intended to be enjoyed young.
