Domaine Courtault-Michelet is a family-owned Chablis estate created through the merger of the Courtault and Michelet families. Its vineyards span six villages on clay and limestone soils, producing Chardonnay and some Pinot Noir for Petit Chablis, Chablis and Premier Cru wines. The domaine is in organic conversion, combining extensive organic practices with biodiversity management and sustainable viticulture. Winemaking and estate operations are led by Vincent Michelet and his wife, Stéphanie Michelet, continuing a family history that includes Domaine Courtault, founded in 1984 by Alain and Lise Courtault.
