Château Peyrabon

France

Château Peyrabon is a historic Haut-Médoc estate in Saint-Sauveur, near Pauillac, with origins dating to 1766 and a long link to the Cru Bourgeois classification. Now owned by the Casteja family since 2022, the property was significantly modernised under Patrick Bernard after 1998, with further upgrades continuing today. The vineyard lies on gravelly ridges with sandy gravel over clay, planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Château Peyrabon holds ISO 14001-2015 and HVE certifications, and follows reasoned viticulture with tailored treatments, calibrated spraying and careful waste management. Harvesting includes hand picking, rigorous sorting and parcel-by-parcel vinification. The estate aims for authentic, elegant, silky wines marked by fruit and freshness.
