Château Hauchat is a Fronsac estate owned by the Saby family since 1973. Now led by Jean-Christophe and Jean-Phillippe Saby, it represents the family’s ninth generation of Bordeaux winemaking. The vineyard lies on the high plateau of Saint-Aignan, facing south-southwest toward Pomerol, with clay and limestone soils over limestone bedrock. Hauchat forms part of the family’s approximately 70-hectare portfolio around Libourne, alongside Château Rozier and Château Bertin.
