Château de Marsannay is a 40-hectare estate in Burgundy, purchased by the Halley family in 2012 and directed by Stéphane Follin-Arbelet. It holds prestigious parcels, including 28 ha in Marsannay, 5 ha from the historic Hospices de Dijon, and plots in four Grand Crus. The domaine completed its conversion to certified organic farming in 2021, with 39 ha also holding Level 3 High Environmental Value (HVE) certification, reflecting a strong commitment to biodiversity, reduced carbon footprint, and sustainable tourism. Harvesting is meticulous, with 100 pickers over 12 days and careful sorting. Winemaking is non-interventionist, focusing on terroir expression, with aging in oak barrels. The estate is actively involved in elevating the Marsannay appellation, with several climats expected to be classified as Premier Cru from 2026.
