Quinta do Regueiro

Portugal

Quinta do Regueiro is a family-owned boutique estate in Minho’s Monção and Melgaço area, owned by Paolo Cedeira Rodrigues, with winemaking led by first-generation winemaker Paulo Rodrigues. Its vineyards are sustainably farmed on granitic soils, with low-yield vines and hand-harvested, fully destemmed fruit. The cellar work emphasizes careful, traditional handling, including twice-daily batonnage, stainless-steel fermentation, and short aging in stainless steel and bottle before filtration. The estate’s approach is focused on quality over quantity, with modest production and no large-scale commercial contracts.
