Australia

Peter Lehmann Wines is a family-owned Barossa Valley producer in South Australia, founded in 1979/1980 by Peter Lehmann to support local growers during a severe grape surplus. The winery remains closely tied to longstanding family grower relationships across the Barossa, giving it access to fruit from many vineyard sites and sub-regions. Its range spans Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling, sparkling wines and limited releases, with Stonewell Shiraz a longstanding flagship. Certified by Sustainable Winegrowing Australia, the estate emphasizes water recycling, native tree planting, wildlife habitat, soil-moisture monitoring, minimal chemical use, and no insecticides for over 20 years. The style combines Barossa generosity and power with site expression, supported by a winemaking culture built on trust, heritage, and experimentation.
