Marisco Vineyards is a family-owned Marlborough producer based in the Waihopai Valley and run by the Marris family, with Brent Marris as founder, proprietor and winemaker. The estate works across three vineyards, including Leefield Station, The Slopes and sites along the Waihopai River, drawing on Marlborough’s cool climate, mineral-rich soils and distinct subregional character. Its wines are released under several labels, including The Ned, Leefield Station, Fernlands and The King’s Series, with styles highlighting vibrant fruit, freshness, layered minerality and a strong sense of place. Marisco has received international recognition, including mention of the IWC White Winemaker of the Year 2025 award. No sustainability certifications or specific environmental practices are noted in the available material.
