Domaine Sorin Coquard

France

Domaine Sorin Coquard is a family-run Burgundy estate in Saint-Bris-le-Vineux, with four generations contributing to its development and Burgundian know-how. Its vineyards lie in the Auxerrois on clay-limestone, Kimmeridgian and Portlandian soils, producing Bourgogne Côtes d’Auxerre, Bourgogne Aligoté, Saint-Bris and Irancy. Alongside Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Aligoté, the domaine cultivates Sauvignon and the distinctive local César variety. Certified Haute Valeur Environnementale since 2017, it combines manual and mechanical vineyard work with treatments applied only when necessary. Machine harvesting is followed by manual sorting. The wines are shaped by the region’s soils, with freshness, minerality and, in the Sauvignon, a characteristic gunflint note.
