Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret

France

Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret is a long-established family estate in Vosne-Romanée, Burgundy, with roots dating to 1620 and eight generations of vine growing. Run by Vincent Mongeard with involvement from Maxence Mongeard and Jean Mongeard-Mugneret, the domaine farms across the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, producing mainly Pinot Noir alongside Chardonnay and Aligoté. HVE-certified, it follows reasoned, low-input viticulture focused on biodiversity, measured fertilisation, biological pest control, hand harvesting, green harvesting, and careful canopy work. In the cellar, the approach combines attentive, traditional vinification with natural fermentations, gentle extraction, gravity handling, extended ageing, and bottling without filtration to preserve authenticity and terroir expression.
