Chardonnay

Battles is a Margaret River-based Western Australian producer led by winemaker Lance Parkin, crafting varietal wines from regions including Margaret River, Geographe, Frankland River, Porongurup, Perth Hills and Great Southern. The wines are recognised for regional authenticity, sophistication and seamless structure. A notable site is the Christos vineyard in Perth Hills’ Chittering Valley, where granite and clay soils support dry-grown vines more than 25 years old. Battles has received strong critical recognition, including Shiraz of the Year at the 2023 Halliday Awards and a 97-point Gold rating for the 2024 Granitis Shiraz.
