Tenute Delogu

Italy

Family-owned and founded by Piero Delogu, Tenute Delogu is based near Alghero in northwest Sardinia, with vineyards in the Nurra countryside and overlooking the Gulf of Alghero. The estate focuses on quality, respect for the grapes, and authentic wines that express the territory. Its plantings include Sardinian varieties such as Vermentino, Cannonau, and Cagnulari, alongside Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet, and Chardonnay, on clay-limestone-sandy soils. Viticulture is low-input: the breezy climate allows treatments to be kept to a minimum, while grapes are hand-harvested in small crates and taken promptly to the winery. The estate also includes a modern winery, barrel cellar, and wine resort, offering tastings with local Sardinian foods.
