Rivera

Italy

Rivera is a multigenerational family estate in Puglia’s Castel del Monte area, founded by Sebastiano de Corato in the late 1940s on family holdings acquired in 1921 and now run by the de Corato family. Based around Andria and the Alta Murgia, it works sustainably in limestone and tufaceous soils, with SQNPI certification since 2020, solar energy, and a philosophy that combines modern cellar technology with respect for natural processes. Guided by consultant enologist Marco Bernabei and production director Angelo Mauriello alongside Carlo, Sebastiano, and Marco de Corato, Rivera produces a broad range of whites, rosés, reds, and traditional-method sparkling wines, with a strong focus on expressing Castel del Monte and native varieties such as Nero di Troia.
