Producer

Pingus

Spain

Founded in Ribera del Duero in 1995 by Danish oenologist Peter Sisseck, Dominio de Pingus remains principally owned and managed by its founder, who also serves as head winemaker. The estate works with old vines using traditional, low-input viticulture: the vineyards receive no fertiliser or pesticides and are farmed at extremely low yields. Its three wines range from the small-production flagship Pingus to Flor de Pingus and Psi, expressing a focused approach to quality and site. Sisseck oversees the estate’s operations, maintaining a hands-on, artisanal character.
