Mauro Molino

Italy

Mauro Molino is a family-owned estate based in La Morra in Piedmont’s Langhe, founded by Mauro Molino in 1982 and now run with the second generation, Matteo and Martina Molino. The family focuses on Nebbiolo for Barolo alongside other local varieties, with an emphasis on aromaticity, elegance, consistency and clear expression of terroir. Vineyards are managed with a sustainable, organic-style approach, including low-impact sulfur and copper treatments, cover crops, organic fertilisers and minimal SO2; some notes also mention integrated pest control and vegan winemaking. Individual vineyards are vinified separately to preserve their distinct character, with winemaking led by Mauro and Matteo Molino.
