Producer

Joseph Pascal

France

Domaine Joseph Pascal is a family-run estate in Burgundy, with vineyards in Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, Auxey-Duresses and Volnay. Now fully owned by fourth-generation Alexandra Pascal and her husband Yann Pascal after buying out other family members, the domaine remains firmly hands-on and family-led. Alexandra oversees winemaking, with heritage input from Jean and Jean-Luc Pascal, while Yann manages the vineyards. Farming is sustainable and the cellar approach is restrained, with minimal intervention, indigenous yeasts, modest use of new oak and a clear focus on expressing terroir. The estate also includes a tiny parcel that produces the sole red Puligny-Montrachet village wine.
