Haltinger Winzer eG is a cooperative winery in Weil am Rhein-Haltingen, Baden, founded in 1936. Its members cultivate vineyards in the warm southern Markgräflerland, including Haltinger Stiege, Weiler Schlipf and Badenweiler Römerberg, with regional varieties such as Gutedel, Spätburgunder and the Burgundian grapes. The cooperative is a member of ECOVIN; however, the notes indicate that organic farming is specifically practiced by member Hans-Jörg Sprich, while other members farm according to environmentally conscious and quality-oriented principles. The range emphasizes varietal character and includes still wines, traditional bottle-fermented Sekt aged on fine lees, and Seccos. A tasting room and wine center offer direct sales, tastings and guided visits. Wines are made under the guidance of an experienced team, including winemaker Ingo Ehret.
