Founded by Renzo and Alida Frassinelli in 1966, Frassinelli is a family-owned estate in Veneto’s Conegliano Valdobbiadene area. The vineyards extend across the Mareno di Piave plain and the Conegliano Valdobbiadene hills, including the Geron and Baorche microzones and Santa Maria di Feletto and Formeniga. The family matches grape varieties to the composition and climate of each site, with Glera central to its Prosecco production and an original experimental vineyard of Incrocio Manzoni 6.0.13 remaining one of the estate’s representative projects. Today, oenologist Gianluca Frassinelli oversees winemaking, while Roberta manages administration and exports. Sustainable viticulture is certified under SQNPI, achieved in 2019, with practices including green manure, reduced treatments, biological pest control, water-saving equipment, and hand harvesting.
