Domaine H is a family-run estate on the Torméry hillside in Chignin, Savoie, taken over in 2023 by Korean winemaker Sukhwan Ha. Formerly Domaine Yves Girard Madoux, the domaine farms old-vine parcels on clay-limestone marl soils at elevation, with vineyards long worked without herbicides and now in organic transition. The focus is on single-vineyard, single-varietal wines, especially 100% Mondeuse, alongside Jacquère and Bergeron. Winemaking follows a low-intervention approach, with natural fermentation, no added sulfites, and wines aged in old oak barrels without fining or filtration. The estate remains independently owned and operated by Ha.
