Domaine Dutron & Fils is a small, family-owned winery in Fuissé, Burgundy, where the Dutron family has made wine since 1835. Maxime Dutron joined his father, Denis, in 2010 and serves as winemaker. The estate’s Chardonnay vineyards surround Fuissé and Solutré in the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation, planted on southeast-facing clay-and-limestone slopes. Some vines are up to 70 years old, and the vineyards are grassed over to limit erosion and control yields. The domaine emphasizes sustainable farming, traditional vineyard methods, and a terroir-focused approach, with an ongoing commitment to improving quality.
