Domaine des Carabiniers

France

Domaine des Carabiniers is a fourth-generation Leperchois family estate in Roquemaure, near Avignon in the southern Rhône Valley. Managed by Fabien and Magali Leperchois, it farms vineyards across Tavel, Lirac, Côtes-du-Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape and IGP Pays d’Oc, on soils including sand, colluvium, clay, limestone, lauzes and rolled pebbles. Organic since 1997 and biodynamic since 2009, the domaine is certified by ECOCERT, DEMETER, NOP and BIOSUISSE. Its philosophy centres on soil health, biodiversity and close observation of nature and lunar cycles. Wines ferment spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in resin-coated cement tanks, without wood, and with minimal sulphur, aiming to express fruit and terroir clearly.
