Domaine de Ferrand

France

Domaine de Ferrand is a family-owned estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape in the Rhône Valley, founded by Charles Bravay in 1960 and run by his son Philippe Bravay since 1995. Representing the fourth generation, Philippe farms old vines and works under certified organic viticulture, with careful soil management aimed at respecting the natural environment. The domaine’s sandy-clay soils and rolled pebbles help shape the wines. In the cellar, Philippe follows a traditional, low-intervention approach: spontaneous fermentation without added yeasts, ageing in concrete or stainless steel, and no oak barrels or filtration. The focus is on preserving the typicity of the terroir and producing vivid, expressive wines.
